Terms of Service

1. What we do

Pi9eon is a social messaging app operated by Pi9eon Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Pi9eon,” “we,” “us”), that turns your personal photos and notes into real postcards. Each Pi9eon is sent from one individual to another — either to a mailing address you provide for someone you know, or, if you don't know their address, delivered once the recipient confirms it through a link you share. Pi9eon is designed for personal, friend-to-friend communication — not for bulk marketing or unsolicited mail.

We rely on third-party providers (including print and delivery services) to fulfill orders, but Pi9eon does not resell or provide access to those providers' APIs or platforms. All interactions with our providers occur only through Pi9eon.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pi9eon. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use the service. By using Pi9eon you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Pricing & payment

• • Postcards sent from partner templates are free to you — the partner sponsors printing and delivery. Per-template send limits may apply.
• • Where a send requires payment, each Pi9eon is $1.99 + applicable tax (U.S. only). We place an authorization at checkout, and you are only charged after your recipient confirms their address. If no confirmation occurs within 7 days, the authorization is released.
• • Promotional credits, when granted, automatically cover the cost of a send. Credits have no cash value and can't be refunded or transferred.

4. Content rules & your content

You agree not to upload, create, or send any content that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, violent, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.

All postcards must comply with the content, mailing, and legal restrictions of our third-party print and delivery providers.

We reserve the right to block, cancel, or remove any order, and to suspend or terminate accounts, for any violation of these rules.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit, and you must ensure you have the rights to use any images, text, or materials. You keep ownership of your content; you grant Pi9eon a license to store, screen, print, and deliver it as needed to provide the service.

When you don't know your recipient's mailing address, we send them a link to confirm it — nothing is printed or mailed until they do. When you provide the recipient's address yourself, you confirm that you know them personally and that they would welcome your postcard.

5. Partner templates & featured photos

Some postcard templates are offered together with a partner (for example, a sports team or brand). When you send a postcard using a partner's template, you agree that the partner receives your name, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share your phone number with template partners unless you opt in to share it with that partner.

If you opt in to be featured, you grant the partner and Pi9eon a non-exclusive license to use your postcard's front photo in their marketing (for example on social media, email, or print). The message on the back of your card is never used or shared. You can withdraw this permission by contacting support — we will stop new uses where reasonably practicable, though already-published uses may remain.

6. Delivery

We rely on third-party printers and mail carriers. Most postcards arrive within 7–10 business days after the recipient's address is set (by you or by their confirmation). Delivery times are estimates only.

7. Refunds

• • For paid sends: if your recipient never confirms their address, you won't be charged.
• • If printing or delivery fails, we'll refund or reprint at our discretion.

8. Liability

Pi9eon is provided "as is." Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected postcard. We are not responsible for content submitted by users, or for consequences arising from violations of these Terms or third-party provider rules.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use means acceptance of changes.

10. Governing law

These terms are an agreement between you and Pi9eon Inc., and are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware.

11. SMS messages

By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS verification codes and updates about your postcards from pi9eon. Message frequency may vary. Standard Message and Data Rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. We will not share mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Verification codes are one-time passcodes used to sign in, create an account, or confirm a phone number. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Postcard updates are optional service messages about cards you sent or received (for example if we are still waiting on an address). You can opt in or out in the product. You can use pi9eon without opting in to postcard updates. We do not send marketing texts. Opting out of postcard updates does not stop verification codes needed to sign in.

12. Social Use Only

Pi9eon is a personal, social service for sending postcards between individuals who know each other. You may not use Pi9eon for:

• • Bulk mailings, marketing campaigns, or commercial solicitations of your own.
• • Reselling, sublicensing, or repackaging Pi9eon or any of its third-party providers (including printing and delivery services).
• • Automating or scripting postcard creation for mass distribution.

All postcards are sent one individual sender to one individual recipient — either to an address the sender provides for someone they personally know, or with the recipient confirming their address before anything is printed or mailed.

Partner templates don't change this. A partner sponsors the design and delivery of a template, but every postcard is still created and sent by an individual to a recipient they know.

Pi9eon is not a general mailing utility or print-on-demand service. Users interact only with Pi9eon, not with its third-party providers.
